Testimonial ... From
a distinguished point of view
My wife and I live in Hobart. We have been coming to Maroochydore every winter
for the last eight years. Originally we had a unit in Cotton Tree but unfortunately
I suffered a stroke. This made it very difficult to handle stairs, as a result
we made the shift to Trafalgar Towers.
Since coming here we find
the place very convenient for our special
needs. Both major shopping centres are
within easy access and Coco's fruit market
is not much further away. Because I no
longer drive, I walk to all these places
without difficulty.
Motorists can drive to them
all without becoming involved, too heavily,
in the increasing traffic on the Sunshine
Coast. Motorists also have security parking
in the basement and the whole building
is a secure environment.
For a time after my illness
I couldn't walk at all. Now that I can,
I walk four miles every day. From here
I can access the walking track along the
Maroochy River without crossing a major
road. This pathway is a pleasure to walk
and the grade alongside tidal water is
more or less sea level.
That takes care of me.
In Tasmania my wife goes
to water therapy sessions to help ease
the situation. She finds the heated pool
here just right for keeping up her exercise
program.
What I have said is not to
make out that this place is some sort of
old peoples home, it's not, it's an ordinary
place where all sorts of people come and
go for all sorts of reasons.
I have just tried to give
my view as to why Trafalgar Towers suits
us and we have no doubt others are
just as satisfied for totally different
reasons.
